Triune Trinity

Pondering Psalms 139:16
“Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.”

My take: God has the ultimate storage device with amazing power. David gives us a behind the curtain glance of God.
God, unlike you and I, is not bound by space, time nor matter as we His creation are. He is the energy, the force and intelligence behind, in and front of life.

By reading this passage, we see that God knew David before he was even formed yet born. He knows all that is going to happen before, during and after it does. Therefore it is impossible for us to fully grasp Him. The only way can get a feel or occasional glimpse is His because He makes it so. Ponder that my friend.

Einstein wrestled and figured out a few of His basic principles but merely scratched the surface. A quote I sure appreciate about this great thinker is, “my sense of God is my sense of wonder”. But even he may have missed the relationship God wants and requires of us and His representative, His Son and fellow member of the Godhead; Jesus Christ.

Because God is omnicient, omnipotent, omnipresent and every other kind of omni He is God and we are obviously not.
This explains a lot or better said reveals a lot we don’t or can’t know. Yet, we are not clueless thanks to His Word revealed in the Bible (which is inspired, holy and true…inspite of its scribes), creation and existence itself.

It hurts to wrestle with antimonies and great paradoxes like sovereignty/free will, fear/love, grace/justice, abiding/action, suffering/comfort, quality/quantity, serendipity/plans, thoughts/feelings and faith/works…but it hurts so good!

My prayer: God, none compare to You in your amazing Trinity. Amen!
