My Pondering
It starts with understanding and finding a strong purpose, your calling, your WHY.
That starts with knowing yourself. When you discover that and apply it to your career, your work will rarely be drudgery. Life is too short and you are too gifted at something to be working at something you hate or unfulfilled.
With that said, life including work isn’t all ‘sunshine and rainbows’ as Rocky Balboa said.

Until you find meaningful work, and even in that meaningful work, there are times when it’s hard and dirty.
During those times, during all times, let’s realize we work unto our Creator not unto man. Work was instituted in the Garden of Eden, which if you know the basics, that was BEFORE the fall, the ultimate virus of sin permeated the world, in which God tasked Adam with work.
Work is an elemental way we can glorify God. God certainly wants us to be a good steward, exercise our gifts and make this world a better place.
Whatever you do,
Colossians 3:23
work at it with your whole being,
for the Lord and not for men
Paul encourages us to work with our whole being. That certainly includes our head, heart and hands.

When we get engaged like that, time flies and good stuff happens for in God, including our work, we live, move and have our being.

– Victor Hugo
go to sleep in peace: God is awake.”
