God knows – Pondering Psalms 94:8-11

“Understand, O dullest of the people!

Fools, when will you be wise?

He who planted the ear, does he not hear?

He who formed the eye, does he not see?

He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke?

He who teaches man knowledge—

the LORD—knows the thoughts of man,

that they are but a breath.”

Psalms 94:8-11

My take: In these ‘days of trouble’ God is not sleeping rather He is managing and waiting. He is patient and longsuffering. As a farmer does with His crop, so God with us. Jesus told us such in the parable of the ‘wheat and tares’. Unfortunately, many take this ‘patience’ as a license or permission to act a fool. They think God is dead, that this world of ours just randomly appeared out of nothing and there is only the ‘here and now’. No way!

God hears, sees and knows whatever He wills.

Let’s encourage each other to be wise and model the greats like Daniel during these ‘days of trouble’.

My prayer: There are none who compare to you. We are all infants and could not sustain a lick without your provision and care. Thank you Lord for planting my ears, forming my eyes, creating my brain, and most of all…for Your TLC!
