Amen. The answer is clear. There is unity in Christ’s love.
Apart from that, there is NO hope. Indifference and tolerance at best.
John 3:19 “And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.”
Only the Spirit of God by His Word can turn true hate into true love. May all who are in darkness hear and heed this:
For the word of God is living and active.
Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Yes, the truth shall set us free by the love of Jesus.
And John 3:16 is a great example of that. While at the same time, we are not to be part of darkness. The IN but not OF the world thing.
Like coldness is the absence of heat, hate lacks love; the supernatural kind we all need.
Abraham Lincoln said the best way to get rid of an enemy is to make him a friend. That’s easier said than done but a noble pursuit nonetheless.
God help us!
