What a marvelous quote.
This is a fight every person of greatness must take yet one that no one can win on their own. It’s the ultimate oxymoron.
Thankfully, there was one man who led the way and was victorious. That special man was no ordinary man however. He was the God-man who most know by this name: Jesus Christ.
This very act is the pinnacle of what separates Christianity from each and every religion. His birth, death and resurrection are the epitome of love. There is no greater act of love than to give to voluntarily give ones life sacrificially for another so the Bible shouts.
On our own, we can pound a few crooked nails we strive to discover but only by the nails Jesus bore into His very hands and feet may we drive one straight.
