My Pondering
Is our God not awesome? Google, though a great tool, has got nothing compared to God. When God asks questions like He did Job or Jesus was fond of, its not for Him to learn rather its for us to process and speak.
God knows our words from the time they are a thought before the come out of our mouths. God is omnicient. Check out Luke 12:7 “Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered”.
So we know He knows us well! We can’t always control our thoughts, but we can for the most part. That’s part of our being created in His image and seperates from the rest of creation. Our words are important, as they express our thoughts in a special way. Genesis records God speaking the universe into existence and when Jesus comes back as a lion, He will speak His victory as a mighty sword.
When good thoughts and words result in good deeds, then we are done. The rest is up to God.
The book of pslams and proverbs reminds us to fear God often. He knows it all. So let’s remember that and be glad of His steadfast love so masterfully incarnated in Jesus.God of all; all knowing, seeing and loving,
