Our founder clearly set up our government to be infused with Christian influence, principles and blessing but they did not want religion to influenced by the government.
We got it wrong…it’s a one way separation…not both. Definitely a religious influence upon Government NOT a government influence upon religion.
This statement from Franklin, one of least religious of our founders, clearly make this point clear.
