The pursuit of happiness

With about 30 yrs of direct performance based selling, I remain taking back by scheiters who try and sell their snake oil and magic potions claiming they have the ‘secret’ to make it ‘easy’. ‘Only work a little’ and ‘make a lot’. Get real.

Quantity x Quality = Success

That will never ever change. Maxing both is the way to truly succeed. No ifs, ands or butts.

Once your sales ship is flying high then perhaps you can go faster without the ginormous effort but building a sales career is NEVER easy. If anybody tells you otherwise, run!

Building anything great takes tremendous effort, smart thinking and a positive attitude.

But that doesn’t sell much nowadays.

If you can come close to hanging with the likes of Chris Gardner (who Will Smith played so well in Pursuit of Happiness) then you got it!

Watch and reflect upon Chris’s drive and passion to succeed.

What a beast!

“The U. S. Constitution doesn’t guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself.”

Benjamin Franklin
