Good morning Champions! We know that God told us to dominate in Genesis 1:26. So why do you think so many Christians live timid lives? Talk to me!
I know of 4 primary reasons.
- We don’t access God’s supernatural power due to lack of faith in the Word, unrepentant sin abounds and natural desire to remain small and comfortable.
Let’s rather fully believe and exercise what the good book says, full of Godfidence.
- We rely solely on faith and neglect good works or vice versa.
We lose balance go to extremes.
Let’s dominate by abiding with God’s purpose first and foremost (John 15) and the execute with our available resources which includes our time, talent and treasure.
- We don’t live in the present.
Rather than acting and thriving today we get hung up with negative religious experiences of the past or continuously waiting for the future.
Let’s respond with God’s speed. Let’s focus on doing the next best thing NOW.
- We lose sight of our true purpose.
Sometimes we get caught up with all the worldliness and materialism. We think things should revolve around our wants and needs. We think money and popularity is the greatest tally of success. We live for our glory and seek worldly approval as what’s essential rather than when we seek God’s glory, He takes care of us much more and better than we can even imagine.
Let’s live and move and have our being in Him. His glory and purpose needs to be our #1. We are partners. He is the CEO and we believers are His agents. He is the Owner and we the players on the field.
His glory, not mine or thine.
