Pondering Proverbs 24:10 (Oct 24)
“If you faint in the day of adversity,
your strength is small.”
My take: Life is extremely tough at times. We all have our crosses to shoulder. When, not if, the weight of the world crashes down how will you and I respond? Like the theme to Cops, ‘Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?’, which anyone past the age of maybe 30 knows this but sadly many choose to ignore or numb themselves to these truths, thus suffering unneccessarily.
However, there is a portal of hope through the fire. Me, myself and I can not win alone. The advesary is too strong. The only way to win is to ally oneself with a greater force. A force not of, outside and greater than this world. And that my friend is the ticket. And there is only one God of three Holy Persons who has that kind of strength.
I am eternally thankful I have a friend in Jesus because He is the only way, the truth and the light.
My prayer: Sweet Jesus, you are my strength, my hope and my super hero. Though I may stumble and be attacked, I know you got my back. Thank YOU!
