Are we really free to choose?

Are we really free to choose?

Yes and no.

Yes, we have a free will but we are only free so far…for none of decided to be born (thankfully our mother wasn’t pro-abortion), we didn’t decide who would be our parents (good or bad), when, where, etc

We didn’t decide our genetics, gender (though some think they know better than God), or even our eye 👁, hair or skin color.

Yet within all that, we were created in God’s image so we have capacities the animals and other elements of creation do not have. Imagination, creativity and the abilty to respond not just re-act, if we think about it, to name a few.

We are free to decide some stuff but we not free from the consequences, good or bad.

Yes, we are free, free within God’s sovereignty and framework of laws and principles.
