Pondering Psalms 80:3

“Restore us, O God;

let your face shine,

that we may be saved!”

Psalms 80:3

My take: Until God’s face shines upon us, until His broad smile appears we have no hope.

Afterall, what is darkness? The absense of light.

What is cold? The absense of warmth.

What is indifference? The absense of love.

Evil is the absense of God.

God is light, warmth and love….and so much more.

I like this video a lot. Regardless if Einsten really said this or not is irrelevant. It is so true.

It is impossible for us to fully comprehend but it is sure is a noble adventure to try.

When God shines upon us, all we need to do step into the light and receive the Son’s beam. If we can’t see the light, let us be patient because morning is coming, sure as day.

My prayer: Lord, may I about the #1 commandment as Jesus said, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength” and #2 “love you neighbor as yourself.” Please oh Lord, help me with these and have mercy with guidance when I do not. Please cause Your face to shine upon those close to me.

    My last two bible study meetings, “Jesus In Me” by Anne Graham Lotz, I have palpably felt and took notice and given thanks for the bright, warm, loving, amazing Sun of his Righteousness shining on my face; delighting in His Words and our discussions of them. God is so Good!

      that’s awesome…she is a spokesperson for a ministry a good friend of mine is deeply involved in call ‘Living Free’ https://livingfree.org/ which I am prayerfully considering how best to support. I thought you might like to check it out if not familiar with.
